Buenas Tardes,
This week we will be using our new books in class and at home. Tonight's homework is from pages 10, 11, and 12 and we will be doing exercises 9, 11, and 13 in the first section of your notebooks.
This week we will be focusing on where the Hispanic capitals and countries are, learning interesting facts about the culture, doing some listening exercises with the tapes, working with partners, learning how to conjugate verbs, and doing some work with time. The new books need to be covered ASAP because they are very expensive! thank you in advance for your cooperation. We have been staying for extra help and make up work on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesday is also a possibility, however, Thursday is not good for me because I teach after school Spanish. Progress reports are coming home this Friday October 1st. If your child receives a questionable report, it is probably because they have been out sick and owe me make up work. Please have them stay to get caught up. Otherwise, things are going very well and I am very pleased with the level of consistent homework and studying for quizzes.
