Work for the week of April 30, 2012
Haven't checked in for a while due to vacation and a change in the blog format. We have now started the family chapter- chapter 5 in the book. We have learned the vocabulary for the family members, new adjectives to describe our families, new stem changing verbs and their conjugations, and possessive pronouns. This week we will be focusing on conjugating and using the verbs in class and the possessive pronouns. We will be having a quiz on Wednesday, May 2 on these items.
Homework for this week is:
lunes noche: May calendar and page 43 in the old packet. Last page to complete it.
martes noche: non-packet sheets pages 85 and 64. Study for quiz
miercoles noche: New vocab list about the house pages 170 for the house and page 171 for new places to go. This is 2 separate vocab lists.
jueves noche: new packet- pages 45 and 55 - whole page.
We will also be having a new family project that will be starting soon. The first part was sent home as a rough draft about a family tree. You need to find out your family information. The next rough draft will be an actual family tree, then a big poster, an essay, and an oral presentation. The last three are each worth one test grade. A rubric and more info will be forth coming. It's almost the end of the year- hang in there. There will be many interruptions so we need to do the best we can with our full attention. Good Luck!
