This week we will be reviewing for a major test on Wednesday and Thursday on Chapter 1. It will be on all the basic expressions that we have been studying such as what's your name, how are you, where are you from, what's the date, what day is it, plus all the responses, days of the week, time, months, seasons, capitals and countries, facts about Spain, numbers, phone numbers, emails, the verb to be (SER), pronouns, and how to match the pronouns with the correct verb.
Today, we finished a quiz from last Thursday because there were no classes on Friday due to Spirit Day. Tomorrow, there is a half day to review again, Half of Wednesday will be review, then we will start the test with the listening exercises and a few parts of the test. We will finish on Thursday and clean up any loose ends we need to do. Friday, I will be at a funeral for my mother-in-law, so the students will be doing a mini project on the Euro and will pass it in at the end of the class. With all the controversy about the European economy, it will be a timely lesson to understand the reasons why the Euro was introduced to their economy.
